The Waterford Coaches Association (WCA) was founded in 1975 to provide an organized and fun baseball league for the youth of Waterford and its neighboring communities. WCA is a member of the National PONY Baseball & Softball Organization, which stands for:

Protecting Our Nation's Youth.

The WCA is 100% maintained by voluntary service of parents & supporters. We are a non-profit organization, supported entirely by these voluntary contributions. Every dollar raised is funneled right back in to the program, this provides an opportunity for all youngsters age 8-18, to play on an organized summer baseball team. We also offer a 6 week Fall Ball teaching league in late August through September on Saturdays.

All players who register are assigned to a team via our draft, will be provided a complete uniform, will play at least 2 full innings & bat in every full length game. Paid umpires are provided, these are mostly area teens 14 & up for Mustang/Bronco that are trained and are able to make some money and learn more about the game of baseball and certified umps for Pony and up. Full safety precautions are used for all players & registered personnel, all of which are covered by liability insurance.

The season begins around the time school gets out and ends the first Saturday in August with our All-Star games. We play 3 games a week, 2 during the week and 1 on Saturday. The League receives full cooperation of the Waterford Parks & Recreation, schools, school officials, and the coaches of the school teams. We also run an instructional clinic and field tournament teams for many divisions that plays against teams from all over to showcase the ability of our kids and have a fun and exciting weekend.
